Where collective fall prevention isn’t possible, the next best solution is one that prevents individual users from being able to fall from a place at height.
Fall restraint systems connect the user to one or more secure fixings and enable them to move around designated areas of work, but to not reach any point from where they could fall.
Static Anchorage PointsStatic anchorage points provide a secure fixing point to prevent a fall from height. They should be used in conjunction with other systems as the user will need safe access to and from the anchorage point. Guardian supply a wide range of anchor solutions, from large anchorage dead weights, to safety eyebolts, integrated within a complete safe access solution to provide optimal working conditions. |

Safety Line SystemsOften referred to as ‘Mansafe systems’, safety line systems provide a robust and secure fall restraint solution, allowing the user freedom of mobility around a wider area than static anchorage points, whilst inbuilt shock absorbing devices on the anchor points reduce the forces on the supporting structure. Guardian continually monitors its suppliers and any new industry developments, to ensure that the safety wire systems we install provide the best possible protection at affordable prices for the client. |
Rail SystemsWith similar advantages to safety line systems, rail systems also offer the added benefit that they can operate in both vertical and horizontal orientations, meaning that a continuous system can protect the user all the way from ground level up to and around the area of work at height. The mechanical automatic locking connectors can also traverse various junction boxes, meaning the user does not need to disconnect at any time. Although generally more expensive than a safety line system, a rail system in certain circumstances can offer the most cost effective overall solution. Guardian can assess your needs and provide you with the most appropriate equipment for your requirements. |
